Why CPR & First Aid Training Matters
Although a significant number of Australians have received CPR training at some point, the number of people whose accreditation is still current remains remarkably low — considering how directly this training relates to preserving life in an emergency. Recognised CPR and Basic Life Support techniques are reviewed and updated over time, so staying current matters as much as completing the course in the first place.
At the workplace, employers carry a legal obligation under WHS regulations to provide accredited first aid, including CPR, and to maintain a predetermined ratio of qualified first aiders to other staff. Prudent Training Services delivers nationally recognised and accredited CPR and first aid courses in partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909), giving participants the skills and confidence to recognise when CPR is required, deliver it effectively for infants, children and adults, use a defibrillator (AED), and manage the situation until further help arrives.
As a follow-up to our Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course, we also offer the CPR Resuscitation Pocket Mask course in Penrith — now a requirement for entry into the NSW Police Force.

What Our Students Have To Say
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
One is never sufficiently prepared to deal with a life-threatening situation. The course I took helped me master the necessary techniques to be able to help a person out of a situation that could have a tragic ending.
You don't need these courses until you need them.
Knowing how to react, what to do and what not to do, and mastering everything these courses teach can save a person's life.
I took a CPR course to support my work and ended up using it at home to keep a person I love very much alive. There is not a single argument that can make me doubt that these courses work. Thank you!
To know what these courses teach is to become the person capable of saving not only the life of the person at risk but also those who could potentially suffer the devastating consequences of losing a loved one.

Yes. Our courses are delivered in partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909), and successful participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment linked to their USI.
How often do I need to renew my CPR or first aid certificate?
CPR (HLTAID009) is typically renewed annually, while Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012) are generally renewed every three years, in line with current national guidelines.
Can you deliver training onsite at our workplace?
Yes. We offer onsite group training for up to 12 employees per session, as well as individual bookings at our training rooms — ideal for childcare centres, construction sites, offices and community organisations.
Do you offer childcare-specific first aid training?
Yes. HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting is specifically designed for childcare workers and educators, covering child and infant CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis management, and other requirements under education and care regulations.
Although a significant number of Australians have received CPR training at some point, the number of citizens whose training is still in accreditation is remarkably low considering the life saving nature of properly administered CPR. Over the years, recognised CPR techniques have changed and it is important to keep abreast of all changes, and for those that have never undertaken CPR training, it is never too late to do so – you may find yourself in a position when a family member, friend or colleague are dependent on a proficient delivery of CPR to maintain their life. At the workplace, employers have a legal obligation to provide accredited first aid, including CPR, by maintaining a predetermined ratio of first aiders to other staff.
Prudent Training provide nationally recognised and accredited CPR courses which will give you the skills to recognise when it is necessary to deliver CPR, how to do so effectively – with consideration for the differences between those techniques for infants, children and adults, plus how to deal with any aftermath. Furthermore, courses can be held at your workplace or at an appropriate facility of the provider’s choosing. As follow up to the ‘Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation’ course Prudent also offer the CPR Resuscitation Pocket Mask course in Penrith, which is now a requirement for entry into NSW Police Force. Should you require a CPR course in Richmond, Windsor, St Marys, St Clair, Glenmore Park, Lapstone, Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Hawksbury or other Sydney suburbs, Prudent Training Services are waiting to hear from you, call us today! Whether it be the onset of an acute medical episode, a road traffic accident or an encounter with any of our country’s venomous creatures, misfortune can befall us all – and when that happens the presence of a trained first aider can literally be the difference between life and death.
Furthermore, in many working environments the risk of a serious accident can be multiplied exponentially, and consequently employers are required to ensure adequate first aid provisions are accessible to all – and naturally enough this includes a contingent of trained first aiders. Prudent Training Services provide nationally accredited and recognised first aid training in Blue Mountains, Cranebrook, Claremont Meadows and the whole metropolitan area of Sydney. From basic first aid suitable for everyday occurrences at home or at work to specific training for unique and specific conditions, Prudent are helping to meet the need to keep everyone as safe as possible. Whether you opt for attending our centre, or on site first aid classes (dependant on sufficient students) all candidates will be required to commit to at least 3 hours face to face time in our First aid classes after completing online learning, as this will constitute a significant part of the final assessment – leading to your accreditation and certification.
Prudent Training Services offer great flexibility with their first aid training packages; if you can only accommodate afternoon first aid classes or your staff require evening first aid classes, your needs and requirements can easily be facilitated. Don’t delay, call to book your first aid training classes now.
